Fetty Wap Just Keeps On Winning, Reaches No.1 on the Billboard 200

Jersey has been hiding under the grit for years, but newcomer Fetty Wap is giving the Garden State a reason to shine.

The first time anyone heard Fetty Wap in 2014 he brought us “Trap Queen” and almost immediately it became a cultural sensation filled with memes, hashtags and hood-love life goals – all from the 3rd song ever recorded by the Paterson rapper. Since then, his melody-infused raps have landed him 2 more Billboard top 10 songs, “My Way” and “679” featuring fellow Remy Boy, Monty, and now, a Number 1 album debut.

Released September 25th under RGF/300 Entertainment, the self-titled album beat 7 other debut albums for the #1 spot making it the first hip hop studio drop to make it to the top of the list in over 2 years (A$AP Rocky’s Long.Live.A$AP) knocking off Drake and Future’s What A Time To Be Alive.
